Yomu Fujino, a fourth-grader, regularly draws four-panel manga for the school newspaper and is admired as the best artist in the class. One day, his teacher asks him to yield one of his manga slots to an absent student named Kyumoto. When Kyumoto's manga is published alongside Fujino's works, it receives great acclaim for its meticulous details, making Fujino intensely jealous and angry.
